Inspired by the most adorable Red Efts I spot on cool days in the woods where I love to go walking many times a week, these tapestries capture the quick movement of the creatures disappearing into their mossy hideaways and underwater birthplaces. These tapestries are a single cloth construction and utilize warp and weft satin weaves to create the illusion of visual depth. Hand woven in wool and cotton on the TC2 digital loom in 2022 each 40”x40”.
